Weezer is pretty much the best group that you would hear while you were happily killing yourself, so many of the songs in this list are from weezer, even from the same album.
1. Katy song- Red house painters
This is a song so sad it actually hurts. The lyrics, the music, the length. Probably perfect to sit back in your couch and take a fistful of aspirins along with a big glass of lemonade. The final chorus that lasts until the end of the song is enough to bring down a pink bunny jumping in the streets.
2. Haunt you every day- weezer
The delightfully lonely lyrics make this song one of the best to take your life. It has a really powerful last chorus that almost makes you want to shout along in sadness.
3. Dead!- my chemical romance
For those who want to kill themselves and be happy about it, there´s "Dead!". You can´t feel the sadness in this one, just pure, jumping, in-your-face happyness.
4. Stairway to heaven- Led Zeppelin
A classic. It is so long that you will be dead before you realize it. Listen to the solo, listen to the lyrics, listen to the 12-string guitar. Great for uncurable rockers.
5. Only in dreams- Weezer
Another long one, and another one with weezer. A roller coaster of emotions, as you listen to the lyrics talk about an impossible love. Perfect for those who died in the pursuit of love.
6. Aria of the soul- Shoji Meguro
A hard one to find, and part of the soundtrack for the Ps2 game "persona 3". It has no lyrics, only an opera singer doing "AAH´s" along with the song. the piano and the voice sound awesome though.
7. Adam´s song- Blink 182
The favorite of the emo´s! Talking about a suicidal person in its lyrics, it is not too sad, but not too uppy either. Perfect for those with a different sense of emotions.
8. Conventioneers- Barenaked Ladies
Not sad, does not talk about suicide, great nevertheless. It is slow, talks about love, it is also a great group.
9. Marduk- Austin tv.
Awesome instrumental song to fal asleep knowing that you may never wake up again. Austin tv really nails the mood changes in this symphony.
10. Maybe you´re right- Barenaked ladies
Also a pretty good song. The strings and the arrangements by the BNL makes this one an awesome song to close your eyes and let the uncertainty of death take you to your next destination.
Well, there you have it. Like i said before, if you know another very very very sad song, please tell me so, and i will listen. Who knows, maybe it even gets a place in the list.

Katanai: Yeah. *Turns off lamp; puts book down*
Ryoichi: IT WENT DARK!
Katanai: Oh...my God... He needs so much help.
